Message Title  - ‘Characteristics of a Christian mind’

When you give your life to God, He goes to work on your mind.

To have the mind of Christ is to have His perspective, His attitude, His affections, and His priorities.

Mediate on these scriptures:
Is. 26:3-4
Phil. 2:5
Romans 12:2
Col 3:1-2
Eph 1:18
Eph 4:22-23
1 Peter 1:13

 

The ‘renewing of the mind’ is the adjustment of your thinking and outlook on life, so that these conform to the mind of God.

Surrendering your mind to Christ means to choose Jesus as your mentor and teacher, to trust His wisdom as a guide for your life.

Phil.4:8-9  Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you

Pastor Lloyd Bustard

Lloyd was born in Canada, where his parents cared and provided for nineteen children. Trying to deal with the death of his father, during his teenage years, Lloyd resorted to a lifestyle of drugs, alcohol, and rock-n-roll. Miraculously God delivered him and he began ministering under a dynamic, inspirational anointing. This ministry led him to a church in Pascagoula, Mississippi where he met his wife, Pam. They have been married for twenty five years and have three beautiful children. They now reside in North Carolina where Lloyd and Pam pastor World Worship Church. Lloyd is a worshipper of Jesus Christ. This is clearly seen, heard, and felt through the praise and worship songs which he writes and sings.
